Evangelizing Thru Music through uplifting and encouraging music.
We offer a listener supported community for people to hear new music as well as some favorites from some of Christian music's most popular artists. The network ministry of Apostles That Rock was established in January 2006 in Detroit, MI by it's late founder David Dodd and has aired it's radio show Apostles That Rock since January 2008 on multiple stations across the country including Detroit's WMUZ 103.5 FM. In January 2014, ATR, under the ownership of David Dodd Broadcasting, moved to Nashville to be closer to the music scene. ATR has since promoted a number of organizations including The Hands & Feet Project, Compassion International, and Rocketown. In June 2015, Apostles That Rock moved back home to Detroit to honor the legacy of its founder and continue its mission through the local cooperative church ministry in the area. In late 2017, it was announced that David Dodd Broadcasting would no longer oversee the operations over Apostles That Rock Radio or its podcast and moved to close down its internet radio network.
Apostles That Rock is an independent nationwide LGBTQ Christian podcast network and can be heard across all 50 U.S. States and can be accessed through our network partners in Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Phillipines, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, all of Europe and parts of northern Africa.
The vision of Apostles That Rock is two-fold; first, we intend to provide our listeners with the best online podcast experience through our broadcast and website. Secondly, we intend to provide well known and independent Christian bands alike with a source to be heard and supported.
