A message from our General Manager about our new logo
After many months of searching and many more at the drawing table, we are proud to unveil our new logo for the ministry of Apostles That Rock. As Christian music has changed over the years, we have striven to stay on course with our vision. For 10 years, we have kept the same logo and while the logo has a great look, it no longer speaks about the overall vision or direction that ministry wants to go. Thus began a months long search to find a logo concept that would be bold and show our new vision in an especially brighter way.
We first looked to several outside sources that create professional logos. We found a few fonts that were kind of grungy looking, but the fonts never matched our vision or the new styles of music that we were playing. So we started looking within our network to see who could create a concept that move us forward. We started looking at different custom fonts and started an experimentation process that would take a total of 10 months. We're up to 14 months already in this process. We happened to come upon the Montserrat family of fonts and chose Montserrat Extra bold for the typeface for both the word "Apostles" and "That Rock". We also have chosen to lowercase the entire logo as a way create contemporary image to our ministry.
In addition to the typeface, we have kept our original colors of white and a custom red that was used in our previous logo since 2006.
We believe that this logo will shape our ministry and move us forward into the future. This is just a small look into the process of what it took to come up with something that is both minimalistic yet conveys this new direction that our ministry is taking as we play new music and reach more people than we ever have before.
Glory to God,
