Owner and Host of Apostles That Rock
Thomas, age 29, is the Owner and Host of Apostles That Rock. He has worked in Christian ministry for 21 years. In high school, he was in a band called Judah First and they recorded a full length album. At the age of 17, Thomas came out as being gay. He has a deep calling for the LGBTQIA community and his faith is unique. He has attended the Michigan Career and Technical Institute in Plainwell, MI for Retail Marketing. He studied worship ministry at Christian Leadership Institute in Grand Haven, MI and also attended The Art Institute in Nashville, TN where he studied Graphic Design and Website Development.
In May 2012, following the passing of the late David Dodd, Thomas took over operations of Apostles That Rock. For two years, Thomas would conduct demographic studies across the country and speak with listeners about what they would like to see develop with the ATR network. In 2016, the Internet radio station that had made Apostles That Rock what it is today, dissolved. Today, Thomas continues Apostles That Rock as a music driven podcast with plans to add more and grow the ATR Network. Thomas has a desire for ministry in a unique way and enjoys listening to the stories of every artist he interviews.
Aside from daily life in podcasting, Thomas loves biking through his neighborhood. He loves sushi, Thai and Italian cuisine. He's a sucker for black and white films and loves classical music.
Thomas currently resides in Houston, TX.
